PingMeter, published by jefuriiij and currently at version 0.5.1 (one of five released versions), is a Windows 11 network monitoring utility that embeds a live ping readout, measured in milliseconds, directly into the taskbar next to the tray clock. It can display on the primary taskbar, on secondary-monitor taskbars, or on all of them simultaneously, and is designed to replace the common practice of keeping a "ping google.com -t" command running in a terminal window. Positioned within the network monitoring and diagnostics category, the software provides color-coded latency indicators with configurable thresholds, a sparkline visualization of recent ping results, packet-loss percentage, and hover statistics covering minimum, average, and maximum latency, loss, and the currently configured DNS servers.
